Sarah Allen was raised in north Louisiana her entire life being a native of West Monroe, LA. She graduated Cum Laude from Louisiana College in Pineville, LA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Upon graduation, she moved to Bossier City where she pursued a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from LSU Health Science Center School of Allied Health in Shreveport with the honor of being awarded Joseph K. Valgora Compassionate Caregiver by the program.
After graduating from PA school, Sarah moved to the Dallas metroplex and practiced in Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, and Urgent Care. She was so excited to move back closer to her roots in 2015 with her family, and she has been practicing in Family Medicine since that time. Sarah also serves as clinical faculty for the LSU Health School of Allied Health PA Program.
Sarah truly enjoys the aspect of caring for patients on a more personal level that practicing in primary care affords. While she is comfortable in all areas of Family Medicine, she has a particular interest in preventative medicine, endocrinology, and women’s health. She is thankful to have the opportunity to serve the people of Bossier Parish.
